About InstaRide
Born in Hadayek El Ahram, growing into more areas
InstaRide is a local ride app that knows the buildings by number and letter, and the places you go every day.
Our story
We started from a problem we live every day
An address is a building number and an area letter
Addresses here are a building number and an area letter, so we built the app around that. In Hadayek El Ahram nobody gives directions by street name — we say “158 Ṣ”. Picking the area letter and the building number is enough, and the captain comes right to the building's door.
What was missing
There was no map, no safety tools, no choice of a woman captain, and no easy way to handle change. So we made a fixed price shown before you order, trip sharing with a safety team on hand, and change that goes into your wallet instead of getting lost.
Our values
What we stand by
A clear, fixed price
You see the price before you order, and it doesn't change at rush hour.
Safety first
Vetted captains, trip sharing and a safety team on hand.
Respect for captains and riders
Respectful treatment on both sides, and a rating after every trip.
Transparent money
A clear commission for captains, a receipt for every trip, and change in your wallet.
What we fix
Before and after InstaRide
Small things that used to waste time on every ride.
