1. Definitions and acceptance
"InstaRide" is a technology platform that connects riders with independent captains inside Hadayek El Ahram and from it to Greater Cairo. By using the app you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
2. Account and registration
- You register with a mobile number, and each number has one account.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for any use of your account.
- We may suspend an account that is misused or breaks these terms.
3. Booking rides and prices
The fixed fare is shown before you confirm a request. It is calculated from the road distance between the pickup and the destination and does not change after confirmation unless you change the trip before it starts.
4. Payment and wallet
You pay the captain in cash, from your wallet balance, or both. Change that the captain transfers to your wallet is added as soon as it is sent, with a notification, and the balance can be used for your next rides.
5. Cancellation and waiting
- Cancelling is free before a captain accepts or within two minutes of acceptance; after that a fee of EGP 10 applies.
- Waiting is free for 5 minutes, then EGP 1 per minute up to 10 minutes.
- No fee applies if the captain is late.
6. Conduct and safety
Riders and captains treat each other with respect and follow the community guidelines. Harassment, violence and discrimination are prohibited, and we may suspend an account temporarily or permanently for a breach.
7. Limits of liability
Captains provide the transport service as independent providers; InstaRide verifies their documents and monitors service quality. If you leave something in a vehicle, we help you reach the captain to get it back.
8. Changes and contact
We may change these terms; we will notify you in the app before any material change takes effect and ask for your consent again. To contact us:
